Having closed the MI chapter of our lives, where we met, fell in love, and survived graduate school together, we are now on to being professors in ID. While we enjoy teaching, our lives revolve around each other and our kids: Lizzie & Kit.

The wonder of frosting...and cupcakes
Like most parents, we thought we would give Lizzie the chance to overdose on sugar on her first birthday. We assumed Lizzie would go nuts with a cupcake, but she took a more delicate approach.
But, after a bit, she developed a bolder approach.

Only one cupcake? Sheesh...stingy.
At first, I thought that the arm in the very last picture was her leg. And I was like, Wow. That is relaxing. How'd she get her leg up there? But then I realized, it was just someone's arm. Alas.
