Having closed the MI chapter of our lives, where we met, fell in love, and survived graduate school together, we are now on to being professors in ID. While we enjoy teaching, our lives revolve around each other and our kids: Lizzie & Kit.

Lizzie's home now
Here are a few more pictures of Lizzie's second day at the hospital and then at home. Hopefully we'll post some more informative text-based posts soon, but in the meantime these pictures can speak for us. We really like Lizzie's baby-fro. I hoped my child would have dandelion-hair.
She is so pretty Emily. I think she looks like you. I never had a baby with crazy hair like that. I had one that was bald for two years though. I think I'd rather have the hair :)
Oh Emily! She's so beautiful! Congratulations--I'm so happy for you.

p.s. you never know about hair--Jonas was born with a full head of black hair. It all fell out between 4 and 6 months and now it's a thick sandy blond. What you see is not necessarily what you get. :)
She is so cute!! I can't wait to see her. I hope that your mom got to snuggle her a little before she flew home. Let me know if you need anything from dinner to adult conversation. Megan
