Some Halloweeny pics with Lizzie
Not of her costume, we'll save that for after she officially wears it, but she's gotten into the Halloween spirit in other ways.

Happy Birthday, Emily! (a week ago)
So Emily had a birthday, and you should all know it was fantastic.* Mostly because of Lizzie.
Here are some pictures to prove it. First, Lizzie helped make Mommy dinner:
Lizzie even helped blow out the candle on Mommy's Molten Chocolate Birthday Cake:
And, amongst her gifts, Emily got socks! Therefore the birthday was awesome! Lizzie insisted that Mommy needed purple socks when we saw them in the store, because Mommy's favorite color is purple. Lizzie has declared that currently pink is her favorite color, but when she grows up purple will become her favorite color.
*Disclaimer: We are aware that we haven't posted in awhile and while we have plenty of excuses** we aren't going to make them.*** We're all just moving on.
**Our absence coincided with us becoming full-time employees of a University instead of grad students and with the tragic death of our camera, which is a crutch we rely on for these blog posts.****
***Except in the previous footnote.
****We got a new one as a graduation gift from Joe's parents.
